Trading notes: The audio gets blown out at times—we were seated in the first row and my bag was on the ground. The first row was also made up of folding chairs, so anytime I (or the person next to me) moved, theres a creaking noise. Im not sure what the high pitched whirring in the background was, but it was present in the theatre as well—it might have had something to do with the audio equipment they were using to audio-describe the performance, which was going on that afternoon.

Apparently this production is actually the first time any Dave Malloy musical has been performed in D.C., and I'm very thankful that there's zero chance it's going to be last. Recorded with a Sony ICD-PX370 audio recorder deep in my pocket rather than my phone because they used Yondr pouches, so the audio is a bit muffled.
