Trading notes: Penultimate Preview! When Alex Brightman asks if there are any kids in the audience, a kid in Row C raised their hand and he directed the puppet show at them. Alex is hilarious, and Sophia gives a show stopping performance!

Trading notes: Alex was absolutely unhinged this show. The first time he stopped was because an usher was showing some late people to their seat and in the middle of his mental breakdown that the Maitlands cause, he says hes gonna wait for these people to find their seats. The poor usher was right in front of me with his head in his hands, looking like he regrets life. The second time was in Act 2. He pointed to someone and goes (in the Beetlejuice voice) “this guy gets it… put your mask up”. Imagine being called out by Beetlejuice. He got a round of applause obviously. It was the best part of the whole show. Also Elizabeth is really growing into her character. She did absolutely amazing! “Home” made me cry so hard.

Some of my favorites include: Periodically singing jAsOn dErUlO, randomly flipping off audience members for no reason, and singing an excerpt from Being Alive during Creepy Old Guy. | After Ready Set, Not Yet, the book bounced into the trap door, and Alex improvised until he pulled a back-up book from a cabinet drawer. | After That Beautiful Sound Reprise, I (embarrassingly) get jump scared by an ensemble member running up the aisle. | I was really into this performance, so expect a fair bit of laughing and crying. | Curtain call video included in folder.

Master's notes: Dana’s “Dead Mom” is truly the best I have ever head. She riffs up the ending and makes it her own. Fantastic performance. Alex is ad lib crazy. The book falls into the floor and Alex throws a tantrum on stage and has fun with the spare book. And other ad lib moments

Master's notes: Dana gives a stellar performance as Lydia and changes up the vocals on her songs. Alex is out of control ad libbing (and it is wonderful) in the puppet show and any scene with Jill A. (Back as Juno). A wonderful listen for any Beetlejuice fan.

There was some speaker/mic issues during Beetlejuice's post-wedding I'm alive! speech, but it cleared up during Juno's entrance.

Master's notes: Closing day matinee performance - final performance for Madison Mosley. Very lively crowd - loud cheering for Justin's delivery of The Maitlands! resulting in a long beat of silence while he looked up to the balcony and flipped them off. Recorded from front row mezzanine

Master's notes: Closing night performance on Broadway. Recorded from front row Orchestra, so the audio mix is not optimal due to the close proximity to the stage, resulting in some lines of dialogue being a little harder to make out clearly. VERY lively crowd, but it was a VERY lively show.

Master's notes: Recorded from the front row of the dress circle. My 10th show (4th on the West End)! Clear audio, apart from occasional rustling from the person beside me, and a tiny bit of talking from the kid behind me. There was a show stop just as the Maitland's house was meant to be revealed (the curtain wouldn't come up for that part). I've cut out the pause (which lasted about 15 mins), but have included the announcements that were made, and a photo of the stage during the stop. Aimie's dress also didn't unravel during Day-O. Includes photo of the cast board, playbill shot and video of the curtain call.
