Master's notes: Great recording of this fabulous cast. This was an immersive production, so some harmonies are featured more prominently than others, such as when Natasha, Marya, and Sonya sat down next to me during The Opera. Some chair squeaking sounds throughout, unfortunately. Also you can hear me faintly crying at times, but I do not apologize for that :). Includes pre-show speech by the artistic director (which unfortunately features a lot of squeaking and rustling sounds), a talkback with the cast after the show, and a video of bows. My first time seeing Comet live, and I absolutely loved it.

Hailey Gillis (Natasha), Evan Buliung (Pierre), Vanessa Sears (Sonya), Louise Pitre (Marya D.), George Krissa (Anatole), Divine Brown (Hélène), Lawrence Libor (Dolokhov / Ensemble), Marcus Nance (Bolkonsky / Andrey / Opera Singer / Ensemble), 박희윤 Heeyun Park (Mary / Opera Singer), Andrew Penner (Balaga / Ensemble), Rita Dottor (Maidservant / Ensemble), Brendan Wall (Ensemble), Tyler Pearse (Ensemble), Elena Howard-Scott (Ensemble), Donna Garner (Ensemble), Janelle Cooper (Ensemble), Andrew Broderick (Ensemble), Tess Benger (Ensemble)
Master's notes: Recorded from front orchestra. I was asked to dance by an ensemble member during Balaga & fully dropped my phone on the floor so the audio is a bit muffled during that song + you can hear me grabbing it off the floor after i sat back down. Fairly clear audio aside from that, the usual rustling from people around me.

Master's notes: About as good an audio you can get from where I was sitting, sound mixing wasn't the greatest here. Overall a pretty good audio of this extremely good production of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. Lots of audience participation and everyone claps for anyone who gets brought on including Mary bringing in an old man for Bolkonsky. People laugh after Helene says Of course dear brother because Helene and Anatole kiss despite being siblings. There's some chatter and/or whispering from the people next to me but you can barely hear it.

Master's notes: Pretty great audio of this amazing production's closing performance taken from the stage. Unfortunately the audio isn't extremely clear because the theatre just generally doesn't have good sound but it's a nice audio to listen to. A servant's wig comes off during The Duel, that was a funny mishap. During Pierre either the conductor or Pierre messes up so Pierre jokingly goes “wtf” in his movements causing him to be a little delayed when starting to sing, I drink too much...

Master's notes: I went into this show blind and was confused at first...my fault, should've read the program first. Once things got connected, I was hooked in song and story. This production is one of the best things I've ever seen in my life. In all the cast, including swings and understudies, only six cast members are seniors (Natasha & Pierre, 2 ensemble, swing & understudy). The talent is there and I can only expect great things next year. While I'm grateful I have audio, I'd do quite a bit for a video or even to just see it again, its that incredible & something to be seen. I was in the house before the doors opened and witnessed Kiran do shirtless pushups, I'd like to think that is his pre-show ritual. Includes info about the show and what it means. *Recorded from balcony house left
