Trading notes: First known recording of this show. A decent capture of this raunchy, funny, gay parody of the SAW movies in a very intimate theater! Shot with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups, with wides and close-ups being common wherever possible. Especially wideshot during darker scenes. Shot between and around many heads that obstruct some action. Some action is missed throughout, but the show is still very watchable. A large amount of wandering, re-adjusting, and some shakiness. Some rustling can be heard throughout.

The last 11 minutes (which is the finale) ARE here, but from a different performance as someone in the row was taking *multiple* flash pictures with their iPhone and was scolded and babysat those 11 minutes. Master's notes: Beautiful HD capture of this wonderful show. Alex is perfectly cast as Dewey and leads the show well. A very nice capture with no obstruction, no washout, and just a couple quick dropouts. It gets a little dark at times. Filmed from the right side. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scan. Alex Brightman shows why he deserves his Tony Nomination with a kickass performance.

There are some heads at the bottom of the screen that regularly block the actors' feet, but they are worked around as much as possible, and generally don't affect the main action. Master's notes: Excellent HD capture of the final Broadway cast. Adam Pascal joined the cast as Shakespeare for the final 7 weeks on Broadway. Everything is captured nicely and the cast was still giving their all! Some minor washouts and the audio sounds like it is from the big theatre it was performed in.

Trading notes: Camcorder video with lots of zooms. Some shakiness to be expected. Includes all songs but is missing some moderation. Anniversary of this beloved concert series. 25th Sommernacht, how time flies. Willemijn Verkaik was supposed to be there but got sick. There’s multiple greetings for her during the show. Serkan Kaya is amazing, and the video is centred around him whenever he was on stage.

Master's notes: Die Sommernacht des Musicals is probably the most well known musical concert in Germany. Happening once a year and every time the cast&crew outdo themselves to be better than in the year before. My friends and I were going through it for some songs, so there WILL be some occasional shakiness and lots of applause, screaming, you get it. Sadly Milan van Waardenburg was sick, he was replaced by Rob Fowler on short notice. And what’s a Sommernacht without Serkan Kaya? It’s not as good as it should be! And that’s why he’s there for just one song at the very start, and to promote the upcoming Musical Unplugged concerts which he will perform in full.

Trading notes: The Stingiest Man in Town is a 1956 American musical television special directed by Daniel Petrie. It aired on December 23, 1956, as part of the NBC anthology series The Alcoa Hour.

Master's notes: Incredible capture of this west coast replica production. One small skip in the sloppily filmed opening number to finish setting things up, but very well filmed afterwards. Shot in a fantastic mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. A few heads can sometimes be seen at the bottom of wideshots but they don't block anything. Some wandering, shaking, and re-adjusting throughout.

Master's notes: Great front-row wide-shot phone boot from this incredible local production. Very few moments missed when cast was on the runway that went through the audience (mostly in Exile in Gayville). Some of the darker scenes go out of focus for a few seconds, but doesn't distract too much. Very energetic audience, lots of reactions to the sadness and comedy in this show. Marcus Antonio is a superb Usher, maybe the most emotive I've seen. He also gave a concert after the show of some of his original songs performed by him and other cast members, which is included in the folder. Includes video, audio (tracked and untracked), and after-show concert. Never to be sold. Gifting encouraged.

Master's notes: A fantastic capture. This was filmed in the stalls and is a rather painful theatre to film in due to the poor rake on all levels. However, this recording only has one head in frame throughout and it doesn’t block any of the actors or action. A few blackouts due to the people next to me leaving to go to the bathroom and then leaving early in the second act. The audio does contain some rustling as the child next to me was eating sweets or popcorn. It’s annoying but not the worst. Filmed in wides and mediums. Recording includes the curtain call and marquee.

Commonly mislabeled as Act 1 only due to how the DVD was encoded by the master, but if the first act is played all the way through, the second act will start automatically.
