The Book of Mormon

September 1, 2010 (Evening)
Workshop | Master: pro-shot | MP4 - 1.12 GB
Andrew Rannells (Elder Price), Josh Gad (Elder Cunningham), Nikki M. James (Nabulungi), Rory O'Malley (Elder McKinley), Michael Potts (Mafala Hatimbi), Lewis Cleale (Mission President / Joseph Smith / Price's Father), Kevin Duda (Cunningham's Father), Clark Johnsen (Elder Michaels), Scott Barnhardt (Elder Thomas), Justin Bohon (Elder Zelder), John Eric Parker (Guard), Asmeret Ghebremichael (Ensemble)
Trading notes: Workshop all staged on barebones sets. Very interesting changes from the eventual Broadway version, including a much different “All American Prophet” (a squaredancey number called “The Bible is a Trilogy, Too”) This version is far less polished and focused but incredibly interesting to see for fans of the show.
March 7, 2011 (Evening)
Broadway | Master: SunsetBlvd79 | VOB+Smalls - 4.29 GB
Andrew Rannells (Elder Price), Josh Gad (Elder Cunningham), Nikki M. James (Nabulungi), Rory O'Malley (Elder McKinley), Michael Potts (Mafala Hatimbi), Brian Tyree Henry (General), Lewis Cleale (Mission President)
Master's notes: A nice capture of this hilarious original show. A very solid and funny cast. Nikki does a fantastic job acting and vocally. On wide shots there can be heads on the sides, but nothing that really obstructs the action. During Broadway previews, less than a month before the official premiere. So there are differences from the Cast Recording. Very nice video of the show however a bar can be visible in wide shots but it doesnt interfere with anything.
Trading notes: T/W: This video contains a PETA advertisement at the beginning, which contains graphic images and may be distressing. This was included by the master on release. Listed as either March 7 or March 11 due to a labeling error by the master. The DVD menu shows the capture date as March 11 while the poster at the beginning says March 7.

Kramer (Ensemble), Bre Jackson (Ensemble), Daniel Fetter (Ensemble), Delius Doherty (Ensemble), Christian Delcroix (Ensemble), Shanel Bailey (Ensemble)
Master's notes: Video taken from the aisle of the rear mezzanine. Not the best video, frustrating architectural obstructions that remain for the duration of the performance, a few latecomers walk in front of the camera in the beginning of both acts. Excellent audio quality. The last 5 minutes of act 2 were not filmed. NFS except through master.

Second US National Tour | Master: SJ Bernly | VOB+Smalls - 6.29 GB
David Larsen (Elder Price), Cody Jamison Strand (Elder Cunningham), Tallia Brinson (u/s Nabulungi), Pierce Cassedy (Elder McKinley), James Vincent Meredith (Mafala Hatimbi), David Aron Damane (General), Christopher Shyer (Mission President), Jeff Heimbrock (u/s Cunningham's Father)
Trading notes: A fantastic capture of the second tour cast. This is the first known DVD of the 2NT, and the cast doesn't disappoint. David and Cody are strong leads with great voices and comedic timing. Pierce is perfect as McKinley. Tallia also does a great job; she has a strong belt and does an endearing rendition of Sal Tlay Ka Siti. This is a very nice capture with no obstruction or blackouts, and only a bit of washout in super-wide shots of high-contrast scenes. The video is very steady and the sound is excellent as usual. It's filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. Includes curtain call.

Second US National Tour | Master: Conductor Cam | MP4 - 114.2 MB
Kevin Clay (Elder Price), Ron Bohmer (Joseph Smith)
Trading notes: 19 clips from the second tour, conductor cam, ripped from TikTok. Includes (to my knowledge) one from the first tour.

West End | Master: Unknown | MP4 - 9.57 GB
KJ Hippensteel (Elder Price), Cody Jamison Strand (Elder Cunningham), Leanne Robinson (Nabulungi), Steven Webb (Elder McKinley), Richard Lloyd-King (Mafala Hatimbi), Michael Moulton (General), Dean Maynard (Mission President / Joseph Smith / Price's Father)
Trading notes: Video is washed out, so it's almost impossible to tell faces apart. However, based on reactions and prop objects (eg flames), it seems that towards the end of Act 1 the audio gets 1s out of synch. There's a small cut (49:31) right after Baptize me, so from the next dialogue until the end of Act 1 (Man Up) audio and video do not match. Act 2 (so from 58:43 on) is synched though.

Sam McLellan (Elder Price), Sam Nackman (Elder Cunningham), Berlande Millus (Nabulungi), Sean Casey Flanagan (Elder McKinley), Lamont J. Whitaker (Mafala Hatimbi)
Master's notes: Highlights from the National Tour of The Book of Mormon Musical. Filmed October 2022 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Trading notes: 720p YouTube rip, originally uploaded by Conductor Mason Moss. Video runs for 18 minutes, includes parts of most songs except for I Am Here For You, I Am Africa and Joseph Smith American Moses. Actors aren't completely inaudible, but the audio is much more orchestra focused. Should be gifted upon request.

Johnson (s/w Ensemble), Chelsea M. Smith (Ensemble)
Trading notes: There was a show stop right as Elder Price walks out for Hello. The show then stopped for about 10 minutes and then they started from the beginning of the show. The video shot around heads, especially one a small portion of the left side of the stage. But I did work around it quite well so not much action is missed. Edited by: Medium Observation

Trading notes: Great capture of Vance as Elder Price. Theres one head blocking the far left of the stage but I did work around it quite well as well as one head that blocked the bottom left of the stage, but worked around it. Nice mix of close ups and wide shots. Edited by: Medium Observation

Trading notes: Decent Capture of Evan as Elder Cunningham. Shot around heads the action is captured pretty good. I accidentally stop recording for about 10 seconds in act 2 but it picks right back up after i realized. Edited by: Medium Observation

Third US National Tour (Non-Equity) | Master: Ostarion | MP4 - 9.37 GB
Sam McLellan (Elder Price), Diego Enrico (Elder Cunningham), Keke Nesbitt (Nabulungi), Craig Franke (Elder McKinley), Lamont J. Whitaker (Mafala Hatimbi), Dewight Braxton Jr. (General), Trevor Dorner (Mission President / Joseph Smith / Price's Father), Jarret Martin (Doctor), Jewell Noel (Mrs. Brown), Noah Silverman (Cunningham's Father), DeVon Wycovia Buchanan (Guard), Thomas Ed Purvis (Guard), Justin Forward (Guard), Kemari Bryant (Ensemble), Lars Hafell (Ensemble), Alesha Jeter (Ensemble), Vance Klassen (Ensemble), Evan Lennon (Ensemble), Joey Myers (Ensemble), Alexis Nwokoji (Ensemble), Dylan Knight Weaver (Ensemble), Brigham Williams (Ensemble), Chelsea M. Smith (s/w Ensemble)
Master's notes: Good, unobstructed video of the tour’s third season. This is a combination of two videos from two different performances (the cast was the exact same for both). Very little obstruction and a healthy mix of mediums, wides, and some close-ups. Act 1 is a bit shaky at times, especially during scenes that are dark; act 2 is more stable but there is more audio interference. Most of act 2 is single-camera due to usher activity during one of the performances.

Trading notes: Recording of conductor Braden Chudzik on two separate dates, January 9 and May 15. Originally uploaded to YouTube. Small clips of (almost) every song attached together, for a total of 12 minutes. In the first video performers can be heard a bit louder, in the second one the mix privileges the keyboard. Interesting to see first row's reactions to songs. Wii Sport motif played during Man Up, and other similar easter eggs. Dylan Knight Weaver was on for Elder Price in the May 15 performance.

Boop! The Musical

November 2023
Pre-Broadway / Chicago | Master: allisforgiven | MP4 - 9.62 GB
Jasmine Rogers (Betty Boop), Ainsley Melham (Dwayne), Faith Prince (Valentina), Stephen DeRosa (Grampy), Phillip Huber (Pudgy), Angelica Hale (Trisha), Erich Bergen (Raymond), Anastacia McCleskey (Carol Evans), Christian Probst (Malcolm Carter / Ironman Mascot), Colin Bradbury (Arnie Finkle), Aubie Merrylees (Director), Ricky Schroeder (Assistant Director), Ryah Nixon (Chewbacca Mascot / Soundstage Worker), Brooke Taylor (Soundstage Worker), Morgan McGhee (Ensemble), Lawrence Alexander (Ensemble), Tristen Buettel (Ensemble), Joshua Burrage (Ensemble), Gabi Campo (Ensemble), Daniel Castiglione (Ensemble), Rebecca Corrigan (Ensemble), Josh Drake (Ensemble), RJ Higton (Ensemble), Nina Lafarga (Ensemble), Gabriella Sorrentino (Ensemble)
Trading notes: Great stage shot of the 2.0 version of this new musical—prior to the addition of any new songs. Very occasional head/hands appear on the right side, but rarely obstruct any of the action. This show swings wildly from dark to very bright so the bright scenes are somewhat washed out. The worst of the washout is during the very last song where the camera also unfocused. Overall, a great capture of one of the early stages of a show in rapid flux!
November 2023
Pre-Broadway / Chicago | Master: stillreprise | MP4 - 4.39 GB
Jasmine Rogers (Betty Boop), Ainsley Melham (Dwayne), Faith Prince (Valentina), Stephen DeRosa (Grampy), Phillip Huber (Pudgy), Angelica Hale (Trisha), Erich Bergen (Raymond), Anastacia McCleskey (Carol Evans), Christian Probst (Malcolm Carter / Ironman Mascot), Colin Bradbury (Arnie Finkle), Aubie Merrylees (Director), Ricky Schroeder (Assistant Director), Ryah Nixon (Chewbacca Mascot / Soundstage Worker), Brooke Taylor (Soundstage Worker), Morgan McGhee (Ensemble), Lawrence Alexander (Ensemble), Tristen Buettel (Ensemble), Joshua Burrage (Ensemble), Daniel Castiglione (Ensemble), Gabi Campo (Ensemble), Rebecca Corrigan (Ensemble), Josh Drake (Ensemble), RJ Higton (Ensemble), Nina Lafarga (Ensemble), Gabriella Sorrentino (Ensemble)
Master's notes: Shot around heads, mild washout, etc. Occasional shakiness due to needing to reposition the camera. I moved for the second act so it's a lot smoother from there. This is genuinely the most insane piece of theatre I have ever consumed and I need the whole world to see it too.
December 2023
Pre-Broadway / Chicago | Master: allisforgiven | MP4 - 10.0 GB
Jasmine Rogers (Betty Boop), Ainsley Melham (Dwayne), Faith Prince (Valentina), Stephen DeRosa (Grampy), Phillip Huber (Pudgy), Angelica Hale (Trisha), Erich Bergen (Raymond), Anastacia McCleskey (Carol Evans), Christian Probst (Malcolm Carter / Ironman Mascot), Colin Bradbury (Arnie Finkle), Aubie Merrylees (Director), Ricky Schroeder (Assistant Director), Ryah Nixon (Chewbacca Mascot / Soundstage Worker), Brooke Taylor (Soundstage Worker), Morgan McGhee (Ensemble), Lawrence Alexander (Ensemble), Tristen Buettel (Ensemble), Joshua Burrage (Ensemble), Gabi Campo (Ensemble), Daniel Castiglione (Ensemble), Rebecca Corrigan (Ensemble), Josh Drake (Ensemble), RJ Higton (Ensemble), Nina Lafarga (Ensemble), Gabriella Sorrentino (Ensemble)
Trading notes: Nice stage capture of the closing show in Chicago. Features all the changes made throughout the run—including new songs She Knocks Me Out and Color of Love. Some obstruction due to latecomers and ushers. Also a bit of obstruction on the bottom right corner. Washout during the intensely bright scenes. Includes the latter half of the bows as well as very brief comments by Jerry Mitchell.

Pre-Broadway / Chicago | Master: Medium Observation | MP4 - 10.4 GB

Trading notes: Nice video from the second week of previews and Version 3.0. Some scenes are majorly wideshot due to the nature of the show, along with usher activity. Some washout can be seen at times but it's not too bad.

Jasmine Rogers (Betty Boop), Ainsley Melham (Dwayne), Faith Prince (Valentina), Stephen DeRosa (Grampy), Phillip Huber (Pudgy), Angelica Hale (Trisha), Erich Bergen (Raymond), Anastacia McCleskey (Carol Evans), Christian Probst (Malcolm Carter / Ironman Mascot), Ricky Schroeder (Clarence), Colin Bradbury (Arnie Finkle), Aubie Merrylees (Oscar Delacorte), Morgan McGhee (Cheryl King), Tristen Buettel (Ensemble), Joshua Burrage (Ensemble), Victoria Byrd (Ensemble), Rebecca Corrigan (Ensemble), RJ Higton (Ensemble), Nina Lafarga (Ensemble), Gabriella Sorrentino (Ensemble), Derek Jordan Taylor (Ensemble), Lizzy Tucker (Ensemble), Daniel Castiglione (Ensemble), Ryah Nixon (Ensemble), Lawrence Alexander (Ensemble)
Master's notes: Excellent capture of this wonderful new musical in the final week of previews! Shot with alternate camera in a great mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups; some washout can sometimes be seen on wider shots. Minor obstruction on the bottom that rarely cuts off action, it only obstructs when they lean forward which is almost immediately remedied, so the obstruction is well worked around. Some wandering, shaking, and re-adjusting throughout. Overall an excellent capture of Jasmine Amy Rogers’ star turn in this fun show!

Trading notes: The world premiere production of the play by Liz Duffy Adams, depicting a fictional faceoff between two of the greatest writers of their time, playwrights Christopher “Kit” Marlowe and William Shakespeare. In this razor-sharp dark comedy, the two men go head-to-head, fighting and flirting in the back room of a pub, against the backdrop of an aging ruler, an oppressive police state, and constant threat of spies.

Master's notes: Solid phone boot of this neat homoerotic drama between William Shakespeare and Christopher Marlowe. Jaysen did amazing understudying the role of Will, and Alex was truly a wonder. The first 15 minutes, half the stage is cut off and at a dramatic angle, but after that, the video improves drastically and captures all the action. Will's white shirt basically glows but it felt like it did in the theater too, I promise. Some of the darker scenes are a bit underexposed. A couple heads appear in the bottom of frame but they don't cover anything. Readjustment, shaking, and breathing motions throughout. Shot from center of house.

Trading notes: “Broadway Bares XXII: Happy Endings, transforms our favorite fairytales into crazy-hot, spectacular come-to-life stories as told by a bevy of Broadway's best performers. From Snow White to Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio to The Pied Piper, Broadway Bares XXII spins the classics into contemporary fantasy. Highlights from the evening included: An opening number featuring Kyle Dean Massey (Next to Normal), who portrayed a young man lost in a world where he didn't fit in until Miriam Shor (TV's GCB) appeared as his fairy godmother. Backed by her God Damnettes and singing a double-entendre-filled original song Happy Endings, written by Chad Beguelin and Matthew Sklar (Elf, The Wedding Singer). Shor turned to an enchanted book to show Massey, whose character appeared throughout the show, that every fairy tale deserves a happy ending. Wilkins, Kristen Beth Williams and Mark Myars choreographed the elaborate opening. Bollywood inspired an interpretation of Aladdin, featuring Reed Kelly (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) in the lead role. The high-energy number with bedazzled costumes and fast-paced, intricate choreography by Dontee Kiehn and Monica Kapoor, included three limber aerialists, choreographed by Ryan Lyons, spinning above the dancers on a giant genie bottle. Puss in Boots celebrated woman power as Candice Monet McCall (Memphis) transformed into a cat-like diva leading an all-female gang that encountered a well-heeled posse of boot-wearing, shirtless men led by Charlie Sutton (Wicked). The showdown, choreographed by Wilkins, John Alix and Derek Mitchell, turned into a fierce, sword-fighting dance off. As Goldilocks, an adorably sexy Andy Mills (Memphis) found more than just three bears as a stage full of hairy grizzlies surrounded him in a number choreographed by Michael Lee Scott. The naughty bears led Goldilocks to a floating love den that propelled him and his aerialist keeper Armando Farfan Jr. high above the stage as the grizzlies dipped into their honey pots. The Broadway Bares version of The Pied Piper, played by Marty Lawson (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), rousted an all male, kilt-clad ensemble that teased the audience with a high-energy, high-jumping, bare-bottomed step dance, choreographed by Peter Gregus. The story of The Ugly Duckling took on bullying as Brandon Rubendall (Anything Goes) helped outcast Adar Wellington (Peepshow) embrace both her inner and outer beauty in a moving piece choreographed by Nick Kenkel. Evita's Rachel Potter led the full Broadway Bares company in the evening's high energy finale, Happily Ever After, which offered its own storybook ending complete with John Carroll (Follies) as Massey's Prince Charming. Choreographers that took part in Happy Endings included Marc Kimelman and aerialist choreographer Brandon Perayda (Sleeping Beauty), Stephanie Klemons (Rapunzel), Lorin Latarro (Pinocchio), Josh Rhodes (Snow White) and Charlie Williams (Mirror, Mirror). Making special appearances were Academy Award-nominee Jennifer Tilly and New York drag queen Lady Bunny. Tony Award nominee Christopher Sieber and Rachelle Rak led the show's famous rotation, where the entire cast appears on stage to receive individual tips from audience members”. Master's notes: The 30th anniversary of Broadway Bares filled New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on June 26, 2022, with an abundance of “community, unity and nudity” as the venerable modern-day burlesque spectacular wrapped up Pride Sunday with a raucous return to in-person performances after a pandemic-induced three-year hiatus. The anniversary celebration immersed audiences into a risqué reverie of Broadway Bares’ history, revisiting highlights from Bares‘ colorful 30-year past. The trip down memory lane starred 170 of New York City’s hottest, most exuberant dancers led by host Maulik Pancholy, who was assisted by Broadway Bares spirit guides Nathan Lee Graham and Lesli Margherita. The electric evening featured special guest appearances by this year’s Tony Awards host and Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, Funny Girl‘s Ramin Karimloo and POTUS‘ Julianne Hough, Suzy Nakamura and Julie White. The rich history of Broadway Bares began in 1992, when Jerry Mitchell, then a Broadway dancer, gathered six of his friends to raise awareness and stop the stigma of HIV diagnoses by stripping and strutting on the bar at New York City’s Splash. They raised $8,000 that first year to help those living with HIV/AIDS. Since then, Broadway Bares has become one of the hottest tickets in town and has raised $24.5 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Multi-camera, pro-shot for video. A
