It was rather difficult shooting around the head of the guy sitting in front of me who also leaned forward for most of the show. His head blocks 1/3 of the right side of the frame in wide shots, but closer zooms are unobstructed. Did the best I could. Trading notes: A few dropouts throughout because of very active ushers. The opening sequence borders on unwatchable at times but I left it in since there aren't as many videos of it in circulation and it definitely has some good moments. The video also includes Natalie walking into a mirror and almost falling over before Firework. The focus is mainly on Natalie, the ensemble, and Eric, as it was his first week in the role.

Trading notes: This is not a proshot. The quality and camera angles are what they are. The show paused for 11 minutes during “Welcome To The Moulin Rouge.” Those 11 minutes are edited out of both the video and audio files. The Pitch and Sympathy For The Devil are missing due to technical issues and there is a brief interruption right before “Chandelier.” The video cuts out during the bows, but that footage is all over the internet in much better quality than these videos.

Trading notes: Not-so wonderful wide-shot phone boot from the back of the orchestra. Obstructed by heads on both sides, they lean in and talk a bunch. Rude AF. Soft focus, decent colors. Minimal washout. OK for fans of the show who really want everything, I guess. Includes video, audio (tracked and untracked), and cast board photo.

Trading notes: Shot around bars and heads. The majority of the action is caught but the catwalk and the far sides of the stage are cut off. Some grain and wandering, and medium-heavy washout. Heavily Ashley-centric except for when she's offstage, obstructed, or when I forgot to do that. Avoids Eric as much as possible unless he's the only person onstage or needed for context.

Master's notes: Decent 4K capture of Ashley Loren. Due to the obstruction, which is worked around as best as possible, this would be closer classified as highlights than a full video. This capture is largely focused on Ashley over the general action. There is also some wandering and a few short blackouts due to latecomers. Trading notes: Lots of final performances! Includes some bows content. This is honestly more ambiance and clear audio than visual. The person next to me was not so subtly filming and kept getting caught by ushers which made it rather difficult to do much of anything sadly. Much of the action on the catwalk is only seen from the torso up. Shot in a gorgeous mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. Some increased wandering, shaking, and re-adjusting throughout. A few dropouts due to usher activity and latecomers. Audio is patched in from an external source, some rustling and scratching can be heard throughout. Some spotlight washout can be seen. Overall a wonderful capture of this stunning show with two of the most perfect leads I’ve ever seen.

A fair amount of obstruction in first part of Act 1 (maybe 20 minutes?) because of the guy in front leaning into the aisle, but a little less after asking him nicely to stop. Master's notes: Short blackout for a few mins after the first number of the show due to usher presence. The rest of the show is mostly clear, with only a few minor obstructions at the bottom of the screen at times.

Trading notes: Mild shakiness and washout. Some blur but nothing too distracting. Very minimal obstructions and wandering, and only one dropout towards the end. During Sympathy for the Duke, there are two little “spasms” of the camera—one where I adjusted my grip on my camera and another where someone walked down the aisle and it scared me. Also the beginning of the Nature Boy scene was a mess but who cares.

Trading notes: For some reason, this video is at the strangest angle ever most of the time, and there's slight bar obstruction at the bottom of the screen. Some shakiness at times as well.

Trading notes: Excellent 4K capture of John Cardoza's debut as Christian, who smashed his first performance and brought powerful vocal variations to the role, especially during the second act. It's filmed in 16:9 from the rear right mezzanine with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups. The sound is excellent and is from an external source. Includes encore, curtain call, and playbill scans.

Trading notes: Act Two only! Excellent 4K capture of Yvette's first show with John. Includes audio of Act One and a bonus partial clip of the end of Firework. Act Two is audio-only for the first five minutes. It's filmed from the rear left mezzanine with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups. There's one considerable dropout at the beginning of Crazy Rolling and one minor one during Your Song (Reprise). This capture features new lighting settings which dramatically reduce the washout, almost entirely. The sound is excellent. Includes playbill scans.

Master's notes: A decent capture, taken a few days before Conor’s departure from the touring cast, with moderate to severe grain and washout/shakiness throughout; shot around heads. Thank you to the amazing BenTheChipsAreDown and Medium Observation for kindly editing.

Trading notes: John fancam, consists of only the scenes involving Christian. Total length 1:37:57 in ten files. In order: the Duke's entrance in Welcome to the Moulin Rouge to the end of Shut Up and Raise a Glass; Christian enters the Elephant to the scene before Sympathy for the Duke; the last 20 seconds of Nature Boy (bad); Christian returns to the Elephant to the end of Act One; Christian’s Act Two opening monologue; Backstage Romance from the ensemble's entrance to the end; My Heart Can't Take It to the end of rehearsal; the scene right before Come What May to end of CWM; the end of Only Girl to the end of the rehearsal; and the scene before Chandelier to the finale. I was like 2 miles away from the stage so the camera quality is not great and has some issues with focusing. Beginning also has a lot of problems with shaking and wandering as I had to adapt to the really steep angle. The people in front of me were sharing popcorn so they occasionally lean in and out of frame. Overall this isn't a great video, but I would recommend it if you're curious about John's Christian.

Trading notes: A fancam of Stefanie Renee Salyers whenever ensemble is onstage, a fancam of John Cardoza when principals are alone onstage, a normal video all other times. Mild obstruction on the bottom right-hand corner which gets worse in Act 2 but better after Crazy Rolling. Mild shakiness, wandering, washout, etc. Act 2 is messy but still watchable.

Trading notes: About 25 minutes of highlights, including halfway through Opening through Shut Up, Elephant Love Medley, and the Satine solo parts of Crazy Rolling. Not a great video and from not a great angle, but still captures Yvette's principal run well. Heavy obstruction from heads and upper lights along with some grain from zoom. It still follows the action well and would have been great if my camera battery hadn't decided to die twenty minutes in.

Master's notes: Good 4K capture of the new(ish) tour cast! Two major obstructions on the side that are dealt with well in Act One, but become more intrusive in Act Two. Just one head in bottom left corner, but video is only sometimes unobstructed, I try to film around the head as best as I can. This was my first time filming the show and I went in blind, so camera did move around often because I was trying to decide who/what to focus on. But still there is a good amount of focus on Luke, and he makes a lot of funny faces.
