Master's notes: Great HD capture done shortly before Jeremy left the show. On wider shots, heads come into the frame toward the lip of the stage and far stage sides. Usually zoomed past them and they are not an issue and do not block the action. Jeremy is still giving a great performance, and it's a great ensemble!
Trading notes: Check with traders: Some copies circulate with non-working menus, the 7.61 GB menu with correctly labeled Act 1 and Act 2 on each disc is the correct 1st gen copy.

Trading notes: This was the second-to-last performance on Broadway and the last performance open to the public. The energy from the cast and audience is palpable. There are entrance applauses for everyone, as well as for some of the greatest lines in the show, and a standing ovation for Seize the Day before the first act was even over. Definitely a must-see for any fan of the show. Act One has a few issues, but Act Two is much better. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Trading notes: Yes, there are really two separate highlights compilations from this show. Trading notes: I think this has to be my favorite Newsies capture of mine to date. This capture is filmed in a very nice location that makes the action very easy to follow and is the least wobbly, in my opinion. Please disregard the timestamp, as it is reading the wrong date due to a firmware update on my camcorder. There are no blackouts and includes curtain call, near perfect audio that is synched with my Zoom H2.

Master's notes: Great 4k capture of this stunning regional production. Starts partway through Carrying the Banner. Has some issues with washout from start of filming until about The World Will Know. Otherwise, really nicely centered video, with some more wides than usual to highlight choreography. Unfortunately some loud chatter from an audience member next to me. This cast is incredible.
