Trading notes: Excellent rare capture of the Pre-Broadway DC run. This is when the show finally found focus, took shape and fell into place. Such a remarkable and raw performance from Alice here. If you thought you have seen her best performance, think again! A

Master's notes: Alice Ripley, Brian d'Arcy James, and Jennifer Damiano's last performance! An electric and heartfelt night of theater, pretty much sums it all up. Beautiful capture that includes curtain call speeches from Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey.

Trading notes: Beautiful capture of Marin and Jason's first performance. This was also the first performance of Meghann since taking over the role. Marin and Jason do a great job as Diana and Dan. They really embraced the roles and had a great grasp on the characters.

Trading notes: Filmed in 16:9 widescreen. No obstructions, only one blackout in Act One due to late-comers, and a very brief one in Act Two due to a glitch in the video that had to get cut out. Steady filming with a good mix of close-ups and medium zooms for ensemble action on the very large set. External audio fed in from MD source so it is clear. Overall, a very solid cast and excellent performances all-around. Judy McLane especially stood out as Diana, as did Jonathan Rayson as Dan. One of my favorite Diana/Dan combinations Ive seen. Absolutely genuine and powerful acting from those two, which is pretty amazing considering the shows run was only three weeks long. They made very good use of some new staging and a new set, bringing out some new nuances to the show. Some elements I thought were essential to the Broadway/tour productions were missing, but its nothing too drastic. There were also some very minor script changes that were interesting. Everyone (perhaps because it was the closing show) was giving 110% and was on fire.

Trading notes: Beautiful multicam proshot archive for theatre. Rebroadcast in 2020 during quarantine, introduction and watermark at bottom of screen. Really, a very nice, beautiful video.

Trading notes: Some zoomed out shots due to being a total blindshot. Final note of the show cut off a bit because of house lights coming up. Loud static in audio at first. Head in left corner causes some obstruction. Show starts at ~4 minutes in. First few minutes of the show occasionally have a static noise that briefly muffles the audio.

Trading notes: Closing performance. Filmed in 4K (released as 1080p and 4K), external audio. No obstructions at all, very steady. Occasional minor washout and focusing issues. What a phenomenal cast this was, especially Dar. Lee. See. Ah. (you'll need extra tissues). Includes curtain call and Dar. Lee. See. Ah.s very moving speech for closing. Never to be sold except by master, never to be posted in part or in whole anywhere online.
